KR began his career with Du Fresne Manufacturing Family in August 2003 as an engineer. Throughout his tenure, he has also broadened his efforts through memberships in various committees, Six Sigma training, continuous improvement projects, and developing/training a blue print reading course. With the reorganization of Plant 2 in 2009, KR was promoted to Group Lead of our Assembly/Shipping Teams and is responsible for several changes that had led to continuous cost savings and process improvements. In 2012, he transferred to Plant 1 Group Lead in manufacturing, responsible for C-Cell fabrication. Later in 2012, KR was promoted to Operations Manager, responsible for all manufacturing, assembly, shipping and logistics. In 2015, KR became a member of the Executive Management Team.
I like working at Du Fresne, they’re like family to me. There have been challenges, but I like learning new things. I’m grateful for this job. The Amada robotic HG-ATC press brake is hi-tech, saves us a lot of time in production and is uncommon in North America.
Our company was faced with an almost impossible challenge of designing and prototyping a system to deliver ultra-pure pharmaceutical drugs as nanoparticles in less than 8 weeks. I called Du Fresne and after our first meeting I was convinced that they could do it. After 8 weeks, Du Fresne's team came through with production grade systems that we delivered ahead of schedule to our customers. We could not be any happier with the quality of work, speed, flexibility and crispness of execution that we received from DuFresne Manufacturing! And the big design companies for the pharmaceutical industry I spoke to said it couldn't be done!
